Ben Williamson, Head Chef at Brisbane favourite Gerard’s Bistro, will be joining Wiley Managing Director, Tom, in the OzHarvest CEO Cook Off to raise funds for disadvantaged Australians.
The CEO CookOff event held on Monday in Sydney, will feed and entertain over 1,100 people in need, while providing an opportunity for Australia’s top bosses – including CEOs, Managing Directors and Senior Business Leaders – to lead by example in service to vulnerable Australians.
Ben, who is an ambassador for OzHarvest, with Tom’s assistance will create a nutritious and gourmet meal for the attendees. While Ben’s reputation in the kitchen is known far and wide, Tom will be looking to pick up some tips so he can expand on his BBQ repertoire.
Through Ben’s dedication and culinary vision, Gerard’s Bistro has received multiple accolades and notable mentions from various reputable publications. This year Ben was awarded Chef of the Year in the 2017 Queensland Good Food Guide. Tom will certainly have his work cut out in the kitchen with Ben taking the lead!
At the CEO CookOff the participants are grouped into teams and paired with celebrated chefs from Australia’s top kitchens. Each team prepares a meal under the guidance of their chef and serves it up to the wonderful guests – the vulnerable men and women who are members of the OzHarvest family. Ben and Tom will share the meal with the guests taking the opportunity to connect, break bread and have a meaningful chat.
There is still time to donate to Wiley to help feed disadvantaged Australians before the CEO Cook Off.
